WHO'S KAMALA

KAMALA is the very essence of international life. Of Irish-Brazilian Canadian origin, she grew up in the multicultural Plateau Mont-Royal neighborhood in Montreal. Coming from an eclectic upbringing, she studied in alternative schools which led her to obtain a Fine Arts degree in jazz vocal studies, contemporary dance and theater at Concordia university.

Influenced by artists like George Michael, Erikah Badu, Sade, Martine St-Clair, dance, theater, fashion and her life experiences, she finally presents her music here in Montreal in French and English. Inspired by her travels around the world and her love of beauty, her depth is nevertheless the essence of her message, that of love and passion for life.
